Better Buildings: Better Business (B4) Conference

The Residential New Construction Program (RNCP) team from Nicor Gas and ComEd are excited to announce a great opportunity to expand your building science knowledge, earn continuing education credits, and network with other industry professionals at the 2013 Better Buildings: Better Business (B4) Conference – Illinois. This event will take place at the O’Hare Crowne Plaza on Tuesday & Wednesday, December 10th & 11th, 2013 and we would love to see you there!

Last year the Illinois B4 Conference was attended by more than 500 homebuilders and other building trade professionals, and more than 35 different manufacturers and other industry organizations exhibited during the conference. For this year’s conference, educational topics include: new home construction, business development, insulating and air sealing, small commercial building efficiency, mechanical systems, ventilation, weatherizing existing homes, blower doors and new technology, window and door installation, building envelope efficiency, and energy efficiency in multi-family buildings. There will also be pre-conference
training sessions available. More information on the conference can be found at the B4-Illinois website (www.betterbuildingsil.org). In addition, the Residential New Construction Program has reserved a conference room on Tuesday, December 10th from 7-8pm to hold a Rater meeting.

The president and CEO of Insight Joe Konopacki will be doing presentations on Combustion Safety Testing, Duct Testing and Sealing, and Navigating Energy Efficiency Programs and Certifications.
